We perform as a string duo, string trio, and string quartet in the Richmond metropolitan and surrounding areas for wedding ceremonies, receptions, corporate events, and private gatherings.

The Richmond, Va String Quartet, Trio and Duo is a group of professional, experienced, and dependable musicians. They specialize in weddings, corporate events, private dinners, and more. Our experience allows us to work individually with each client to ensure the success of our performance and of the event as a whole.
We play over 150 wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions each year. This means we have mastered the skills of timing, flexibility, and performance and we accomodate for a variety of wedding traditions and song requests. Our vast repertoire ranges from classical and traditional pieces to pop and jazz. If you don't see your favorite song listed in our repertoire, please request it and we will do our best to learn it for your event.

Classical Music for Corporate Events, Receptions and Private Parties.
Mr. Radhi Santos and his quartet provided an out standing performance for our 4th annual awards banquet where we had nearly 200 guests in attendance. His quartet arrived promptly and was ready to perform when our event started. The String Poets added the polish to our event that helped put it over the top. Many guests commented on the quality of their performance and the value that it added to the ambiance of the evening. We will certainly be contacting String Poets for our event next year.
Wanted to take a quick moment to thank all of you for the amazing performance last night. I just wish I could have been there longer, but our guests were blown away by the strings. Everything was perfect and really added to a great wedding day. Thanks again. Derek A.

Radhi, I cannot thank you and your colleagues enough for the beautiful music at Sarah's wedding. When I had my final review with the owner, Mark Lynch, I urged him to add the String Poets to their list of preferred vendors -- so I hope he does follow through. I couldn't have been more pleased. These guys sounded just perfect! They played a non-traditional piece for me as I walked down the aisle - Dvorak's Humoresque No.7 as well as other pieces we selected for the reception. They are finely skilled musicians and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a string trio (they also have a string quartet) for their event.

I wanted to follow up with you and let you know how pleased I was with the quartet that played at my garden wedding last weekend in Alexandria. They were all exceptional musicians and our guests really appreciated all of the beautiful music that was played prior, during and after the ceremony. The two songs that they accompanied my brother-in-law on (The Prayer and Exodus) were simply moving and emotional for all. My brother-in-law, who is a professional opera singer and who has sung in many venues around the world, was most impressed with the quartet. Bravo! I spoke briefly with Jose (thought it was you) and told him that I wanted to tip the four of them, but would work through you to do so. Please advise how I would do so.
